A Guide to Mental Health literacy

I am currently working to transform my dissertation into a comprehensive guide and "how to" for increasing mental health literacy, help-seeking behaviors and decreasing stigma associated with mental health. 

Mental Health Training

As a research fellow with the U.S Center for Mental Health and Sport, I plan to help develop and implement a mental health training for coaches, athletes and their families.

MHFA Trainer
Project | 03 Mental Health First Aid Trainer

I am planning to become a certified instructor in mental health first aid (MHFA). MHFA is an international program that offers courses that provides an understanding of the symptoms, causes and treatment of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. My hope is be to able to provide the class free of charge to communities in need.
